Mr. and Mrs. Okonkwo of the Ukpata community in the Uzouwani LGA, Enugu, have died.
They were discovered dead in a forest on December 10 by ESN agents stationed in the region to disrupt the actions of unidentified gunmen.
Two weeks ago, Anthony Okonkwo, a son of the now deceased couple, raised concern about the disappearance of his parents, who were rumored to have gone to the property and never returned.
The neighborhood has now evacuated the bodies of the murdered couple, pieces of which were later found to be missing.
