Elon Musk on Wednesday released the most comprehensive overview of Twitter’s business since he took control of the company less than two weeks ago. and has delved even deeper into video, a business segment that TikTok has mastered.
He talked about his Twitter vision of processing payments with connected debit cards and bank accounts, mirroring PayPal, the digital payments company he co-founded.
“Everything app” is modeled after his WeChat, a Chinese social media platform used by over a billion people to search for messages, hail a taxi and order food.
The meeting is said to have been organized for Twitter advertisers with whom Musk had a precarious relationship during his brief tenure at the top.
