FIVE FAMILY MEMBERS FOUND DEAD IN UDENU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ENUGU STATE
After the inexplicable deaths of five family members in an apartment in the Obollo-Afor community, tragedy struck in Amutenyi village, Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
In Enugu State’s Udenu Local Government Area, tragedy struck when five family members mysteriously perished in an apartment in the Obollo-Afor neighborhood.
According to information obtained by Channels Television, the event involving the mom, her two children, and two visiting sisters took place on Saturday.
On Sunday, police officials verified the occurrence and said the recovered remains had been taken to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of their demise.
Daniel Ndukwe, the state’s police public relations officer, said in a statement that early inquiry showed the victims went to bed the previous night and were discovered dead in two different rooms where they slept.
The victims were named as Mrs. Chinyere Odoh, her two children, Udochukwu Odoh (f) and Chukwuemeka Odoh (m), both of whom were seven years old, as well as her two sisters, Martina Ezeme and Ngozi Ezeme.
Ahmed Ammani, the state’s commissioner of police, reportedly called the occurrence unfortunate in the PPRO.
According to what he was reported as saying, the Commissioner directed the State Criminal Intelligence and Inquiry Department to launch a thorough investigation to determine what led to the sudden and unexpected death.
Additionally, CP Ammani sent his sympathies to the departed’s friends and family.
