"I WILL STOP DOING CAMPAIGN IF YOU CAN FIND WHERE 1% OF THE HALF OF A MILLION WAS TAKEN" - PETER OBI

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour party was speaking about corruption at an event and he decided to share with the public the various opportunities he had to embezzle money but he didn’t. Peter Obi said that if you want to stop corruption from happening you should first start with yourself, your family and your friends, he said by doing this you have already laid a good example.

Peter Obi said, “I was governor in Anambra state and I told them that I don’t want to hear about what happened in the past, I said let’s look for it but let us deal with the present. I was governor of Anambra for 8 years and we received about half a trillion, if you can trace were 1% of it was misappropriated I will stop campaigning and I will not say anything again. Where I left money is documented, I saved in dollars and naira so it is not a story that I left $155 million which I could have taken away because nobody kept their own, I had over N30 billion which I could have taken away because nobody kept their own. Since I left Anambra state as governor they have never bought me pure water. So if you want to stop corruption start with yourself, your family and your friends”.
