LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION (LASUED) RECEIVES NUC CERTIFICATION FOR 66 COURSES
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), previously Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), permission to operate 66 new undergraduate programs at the institution.
Prof. B.B. Lafiaji-Okuneye, the university’s acting vice chancellor, revealed this at the senate’s inaugural meeting.
She disclosed that 67 programs were submitted for accreditation, but only one was approved: Civic Education. This was due to the NUC’s inability to identify a Bench Mark Academic Standard for the program.
