Tobi Amusan destroys the world 100m hurdles record twice in one night to become the world champion🔥🔥🔥.
She is the first Nigerian ever to win gold at the World Athletics Championships after racing to a stunning world record time of 12.06s.
It was the second time Amusan would destroy the record on the night, improving on her 12.12s in the semi-final to 12.06s.
This was an impressive improvement and performance to set new world record.
Jamaica’s Britany Anderson griped silver in 12.23sec, while Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico claimed bronze in 12.23.
Amusan had produced a mind-blowing world record in the semi-finals, destroying the previous best mark of 12.20secs held by Keni Harrison of the United States in 2016.
